Sound
Sound Designer / Mixer
The sonic architect. Creates the immersive audio world that audiences feel but rarely notice.
What Does a Sound Designer / Mixer Do?
The Sound Designer creates the entire audio landscape of a film — from dialogue clarity to ambient atmospheres, from subtle Foley to dramatic sound effects. In production, the sound mixer captures clean dialogue and ambient sound on set. In post-production, the sound designer builds layers of audio that create mood, tension, and emotional depth. They work with Foley artists, dialogue editors, and the re-recording mixer to deliver the final mix. Sound is half the experience of cinema, and the sound designer ensures every moment sounds as intentional as it looks.
