Finding and submitting to Crew Calls

Browse open jobs, filter to what fits, and submit — with a cover note, self-tape, and your rate.

A Crew Call is a job. This is the most direct way to get work on ScenePaper: find calls that fit, and submit.

Browse and filter

Open Crew Calls to see what's *Now Casting*. Narrow it down with filters:

  • Search by keyword, project, or role
  • City and urgency
  • Day rate range
  • Casting calls only (if you're an actor)

Sort by newest, urgency, or highest rate. Save a search as a Job Alert to get notified when matching calls are posted.

Submit

Open a call and tap Submit. A submission can include:

  • A cover note — why you're right for this role.
  • A self-tape — for casting calls, or wherever a call requests one. On mobile you can record it on the spot.
  • A proposed day rate — if you want to name your rate.

Once you submit, the call shows as Applied, so you never submit twice.

Not ready to apply? Tap the bookmark to slate the call. Your saved calls live under Saved.

Hot-set calls

Some urgent calls let you respond with one tap — "I'm In" — so a production filling a role *today* can reach you fast.
