Reviewing submissions and booking crew
Work through submissions, hold your favourites, run callbacks, and book.
When crew submit to your Crew Call, you manage them from the call's Manage view.
Work through submissions
Each submission shows the crew member, their cover note, proposed rate, and self-tape (if any). As you review, move each one through a status:
- Submitted — new, not yet actioned.
- First Hold / Second Hold — you're keeping them as options.
- On the Call Sheet — shortlisted.
- Booked — hired.
- Released — not moving forward (you can add a note).
Opening a submission marks it viewed, and you can keep private internal notes on each one.
Callbacks
Want to talk before deciding? Request a callback on a submission — the crew member is notified, and you can continue in Comms.
Emergency responders
If you posted a Hot Set call, crew can respond with one tap. You'll see everyone who's "in" and can book or release them directly.
After booking
Booked crew appear on your Call Sheets, and you can send them a contract. To coordinate the shoot itself, see Projects, Scenes and Takes.
Tip: keeping notes and statuses current means your whole team sees the same picture — see Team and permissions.
