Scripts shared with you

Where scripts and sides a production has given you access to live.

Productions share material with specific people, not with everyone on a project. Anything shared with you appears under Shared Scripts, with a viewer.

Scripts and sides

You will usually be given sides rather than a full screenplay — just the scenes you are in. That is normal practice and not a slight; a full script is restricted material on most productions.

If a production shares the whole script, it appears the same way.

Access is granted, and can be withdrawn

Access is per person. A production can revoke it, and when they do the material stops being reachable immediately — including any link you already have.

This is why the viewer is where the script lives rather than something you download and keep. It is the production's material, shared with you for a job.

If something will not open

If a script you could read yesterday is gone today, access was almost certainly withdrawn — which usually means the draft changed or casting moved on. Ask the production rather than assuming it is a fault.
