Finding something

Lessons are filed by department and by skill level — beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Filter by either, search the text, and sort by newest or most upvoted.

Save anything you want to come back to; saved lessons are collected in one place.

Writing one

Pick the department it belongs to, set the level honestly, and write it. You can add a cover image, embed a YouTube or Vimeo video, and tag it with up to three tags.

Setting the level honestly matters more than it sounds. A beginner reading an advanced post filed as beginner concludes they are not cut out for the job, which is the opposite of the point.

Comments

Lessons take comments, and comments take one level of replies. If someone corrects you and they are right, edit the post — a lesson that stays wrong because the correction is buried in comments is worse than no lesson.
