Directors get a page of their own, separate from a Crew Card: filmography, awards, a gallery, and a statement.
Why it is separate
A Crew Card answers "can this person do the job, and are they free?". A director is usually hired on a body of work rather than on availability, so the page is built to show the work.
Getting one
Directors set the profile up and submit it for review, the same way a Crew Card goes through Gate Check. Until it is reviewed and published it is not publicly visible.
Browsing
Published director pages are public and appear in the directory, so a producer can find a director the same way they would scout crew.
