Making sure everyone has seen tomorrow's call sheet

Day-before reminders, automatic follow-ups for anyone who has not confirmed, and messages in the unit's own language.

Open the call sheet and go to Delivery.

Who is reached automatically

Crew with the ScenePaper app are looked after for you:

  • The evening before, at the hour you choose, each is reminded of their own call time and location for tomorrow.
  • A few hours after you send the sheet, anyone who has not tapped Confirm is asked to. Once per send; a revision starts it again.

Crew without the app are not messaged from our servers — a text from an unknown business number is the one nobody opens. Instead, at the same moments, the production is told by name who still needs reaching, and the Delivery tab has their message written and ready to send from your own WhatsApp or SMS.

The message

At the top of Delivery:

  • Message language — English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada or Malayalam. Names, the production's title, times and places are never translated.
  • The call sheet or Tomorrow's reminder — what the WhatsApp, SMS and copy buttons send.

Anyone already sent the sheet who has not confirmed gets a message asking them to confirm, rather than the whole sheet again.

Settings for the production

People who manage call sheets see, under the same controls:

  • The default language for the production's messages.
  • The day-before reminder hour — or No day-before reminder.
  • The follow-up delay — or No automatic follow-up.

Ping app users asks everyone with the app who has not confirmed, right now.
