Unit registers: kit, vehicles, damage, incidents and permits
Who has which piece of kit, each vehicle's log, what was damaged and who bears it, the incident log, and the permits that cover each location.
Open Unit Registers from the production's menu.
Equipment
Add the kit that goes out to the unit — what it is, its serial number, who it comes from and what it would cost to replace. Hand out records who has it; Check in records the condition it came back in. Back damaged opens a damage report against whoever had it. The history shows every hand-out and return.
Vehicles
Add the unit's vehicles with their regular driver and rate. Log a day takes the odometer at the start and end, the fuel that went in and what it cost; the register totals kilometres and fuel for each vehicle — what a transport bill is checked against.
Damage and loss
Report damage or loss first — what, when, what it cost, who had it. Then, under Update, decide who bears it: the production, an insurance claim, the vendor, a waiver, or a deduction from pay. A deduction can only be chosen once the report exists, so the person is heard before anything is taken; it needs permission to manage crew pay, and it comes out of their next settlement, never taking it below zero — what does not fit waits for the one after.
Incidents
Anyone on the production can Report an incident. The log is read only by the production's managers and by whoever filed each report — an injury is health information about a named person. A serious or critical incident, or anyone taken to hospital, alerts the managers straight away; the alert says what kind and where, never the injury. Closing an incident asks what was done about it.
Permits
Add each permit — police, municipal, traffic, drone, forest, railway — for a set or a location, with its dates and a scan. Days on the schedule that a set's permits do not cover are listed at the top. The managers are warned before a permit runs out; how many days ahead is set on the same page.
